Prefabricated vertical soil drain
APE PD-100C vertical wick drain is one of the world's most widely used vertical drain designs. It is appropriate for most ground improvement projects requiring vertical drain.
APE PD-100C wick drain is a two-part prefabricated soil drain consisting of a formed polypropylene core covered with a spin-bonded polypropylene filter fabric. The fabric allowes water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles which might clog the core.
